Ask, Seek, and Knock

Today I am affirming, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you" (Matthew 7:7).

I believe that God gives you whatever you ask for as long as it doesn't transgress His will. God's will can be summarized in the two greatest commandments: love God and love your neighbor.

If you ask God for anything that is within His will, He will answer you immediately in the spiritual realm.

If you want your prayers manifested in the physical realm, you need to display sufficient faith: "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (Mark 11:24).

I believe to "seek" means to search for the solution, and to "knock" means to implement the solution.

For example, if you are unemployed, you should

ASK: Ask God for a job and display faith
SEEK: Get off your butt, and do an exhaustive search through the newspapers, Internet, and word of mouth
KNOCK: Upon scheduling a job interview, go to the interview and convince the interviewer that you are the best candidate for the job.

Indeed, the universal problem solver is to ask, seek, and knock.
